Pre- Season in Turmoil!!!!
On the Eve of what could be W.W.L. greatest season, new league commish was indited today by Sterling Police for tax fraud. Willie mays Hayes has resigned today from the Wachusett Wiffleball League due to accusations of tax fraud. Vice President of League operations Roger Dorn will take over for the 08 season and will hold the title of acting commish. " I hope to steer us as a league out of this cloudy time." League MVP Jeff Johnson stated earlier today, " I don't care who is in charge of this piece, I just want my bling!"
In other news, superstar pitcher Glenn has signed a 10 year offer with the best team in the league. Glenn, a 17 year vet of the W.W.L. has been to the big dance 3 times but has come up short. " I signed this deal because I feel it gives me the best chance of getting where I want to be." With Glenn anchoring this team, it looks like everyone else will be coming in second.
